At least it's still a possibility

At the press conference yesterday Jackie mentioned briefly that sadly the movie collaboration with Zhang Yimou would have to be postponed to 2011 which is sad news but on the other hand at least it is still a possibility. I personally think that a great movie could come out of a collaboration between Jackie and Zhang Yimou. They have different movie making styles but I think very complimentary. Jackie thinks physically, Zhang Yimou thinks in terms of colour and multi-layered complex story telling and they both think in terms of music underscoring the story. I truly cannot wait to see the result.
