Jackie Chan arrives in Mongolia

Hongkong action movie star Jackie Chan arrived in Mongolia today. This is first trip to Mongolia by the martial artist. He is on a 3 days visit to Mongolia. Organizers of the visit said the movie start is to fully dedicate his time in Mongolia for philanthropy and charity. During the visit he is expected to participate in public running race against air pollution, fund raising reception, opening of TV reality show on Judo and show of “Karate Kid” for orphan kids and donate food to orphan children’s center and low-income households of Ulaanbaatar.

Today at 5:30 pm he is expected to participate in public running race to be started from central square of Ulaanbaatar. About 500 orphan children expected to attend the show of movie “Karate Kid” in Ulaanbaatar. Cost of ticket to fund raising reception is $ 500 US and proceeds are to go to children’s charities in Mongolia.
Jackie Chan enjoys much popularity in Mongolia as his action movies are favorite of teenagers and young adults.
