Jackie joined fans and fellow superstars in a concert to commemorate Anita Mui Yim-fong on the 10th anniversary of her death at the auditorium of the Convention and Exhibition Centre in Hong Kong on December 30, 2013. Jackie sang a song, and said that he had known Anita since he was young and that she had helped teach hiim to sing. He added that he still missed her.
Jackie has a cameo as a firefighter in Derek Kwok's latest film "As The Lights Go Out" starring Nicholas Tse. The movie centres around a fire that breaks out at a liquor warehouse. The blaze threatens to plunge the whole city of Hong Kong into darkness if it spreads to a nearby power plant supplying natural gas. The focus of the story lies in the politics, rivalry and suspicion between the firefighters of Hong Kong's Pillar Point Division. The film opens in Hong Kong on 2 January 2013.
