Jaycee Sentenced
Jaycee plead guilty to the charge of 'providing a shelter for drug use' in court today. Due to the fact that he voluntarily gave up the information to police when he and Kai Ko taken into custody for questioning after a tip off, and due to his his co-operative and repentant attitude during the period of criminal detention as well as the fact that the offense was relatively minor (he only allowed people to use drugs on four separate occasions) Jaycee was given a 6 month sentence and a 2000 Yuan fine. According to Chinese Law the sentence runs from the day of arrest, so Jaycee will be released on the 14th of February.

Really great news for Jaycee and his parents as the prison sentence could have been much higher. I fair verdict I think. I really hope he has learned his lesson and that he can stay strong against any other temptations. He looked mature and sensible,
My heart goes out to Jaycee and his parents. He is a lucky young man to have been given such a mercifully short sentence! Hopefully life will improve for him now and he'll use this as a fresh start.Best wishes to the family.

Indeed, a really great gift for Valentines day. Does this mean Jaycee can celebreate Chinese New Year with his family? Would be nice as he already had to miss other holidays with his family.
