Jackie WON PCA - Favourite Action Star

Jackie won Favourite Action Star beating out some tough competition. Sadly Karate Kid did not fair so well with the Twilight Team taking Best Onscreen Team and Toy Story 3 taking Best Family Movie.

Johnny Depp, Jane Lynch, Neil Patrick Harris, Eminem and Katy Perry also were among the night's big winners.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse and House topped the People's Choice Awards on Wednesday night, taking home four trophies each.

Eminem dominated among the individual winners at the fan-voted awards, also nabbing four trophies, including favorite hip-hop artist and male musician.

Eclipse was named favorite overall movie, as well as favorite drama. Stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner took home the award for favorite onscreen team, with Stewart also winning actress honors.

Also in the movie categories, Johnny Depp was honored as favorite actor, Jackie Chan as action star and Adam Sandler as comedy actor.

Toy Story 3 was voted favorite family movie.

House, meanwhile, took home honors for favorite TV drama; favorite dramatic actor and actress for Hugh Laurie and Lisa Edelstein; and favorite TV doctor for Laurie's character, Gregory House.

Glee was voted top TV comedy, with star Jane Lynch named favorite comedy actress. How I Met Your Mother's Neil Patrick Harris won comedy actor honors.

Eminem's haul also included two awards for "Love the Way You Lie," his song with Rihanna, which won for favorite song and music video. Rihanna also was named favorite pop artist.

Other honorees in the music categories included double winner Katy Perry, favorite female artist and favorite online sensation. Usher and Taylor Swift took home the R&B and country awards, respectively.

The People's Choice Awards, hosted by Queen Latifah, took place at the Nokia Theatre in downtown Los Angeles.

On the red carpet Jackie had this to say:

"In 2010, I really hope the whole world [finds] peace," a noticeably moved Jackie Chan told us when asked about his expectations for the new year. "No more war, no more natural disasters — I hope everything is fine. There are so many things going on, so many people who've been killed by natural disasters — I hope everything will be fine. No more war."

Jackie to attend People Choice Awards?

According to this Jackie is part of the star studded line up expected to attend the People's Choice Awards on the 6th of January.

A star-studded selection of talent from film, TV and music including Sandra Bullock, Colbie Caillat, Mariah Carey, Steve Carell, Jackie Chan, Chevy Chase, Kaley Cuoco, Ellen DeGeneres, Jenna Elfman, Johnny Galecki, Ginnifer Goodwin, Tim Gunn, Taraji P. Henson, Josh Holloway, LL COOL J, Hugh Jackman, Ashton Kutcher, Hugh Laurie, Taylor Lautner, George Lopez, Kellan Lutz, Kathryn Morris, Jim Parsons, Paula Patton, Ryan Reynolds, Nicole Scherzinger, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Sofia Vergara and Kate Walsh are scheduled to attend the People’s Choice Awards 2010 to be broadcast live from the Nokia Theater L.A. Live in Los Angeles, Wednesday, Jan. 6 (9:00-11:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network. The night will kick-off with an all-star musical number with host Queen Latifah and surprise guests and later will feature a dynamic performance by Mary J. Blige.

The People's Choice Award winners are determined by the fans and currently the 2010 show has logged in a record-breaking 60 million votes. The categories of Favorite New TV Comedy and Drama will remain open at www.peopleschoice.com until show night on January 6. For Favorite New TV Comedy, fans can vote for Accidentally On Purpose, The Cleveland Show, Cougartown, Glee and Modern Family. For Favorite New TV Drama, the nominees are Flash Forward, The Good Wife, NCIS: LOS ANGELES, V and The Vampire Diaries.
