Irish actress Charlie Murphy will star opposite marital arts legend Jackie Chan in The Foreigner.
The Love/Hate star has a role in the film which stars Chan as a man whose family was taken by the IRA and who sets out to get revenge.
"Very random pairing!" says Charlie of the movie. "We're filming at the moment and we just have a Christmas break now.
"I love acting so much because you can be in a corset one minute and fighting Jackie Chan the next!".
However, the actress has yet to meet the man himself.
"I haven't met him yet, so that's January, I'll let you know [what he's like] then!"

Really great. Busy days for Jackie Chan. Preparing for a concert, finishing Railroad Tigers and then filming The Chinaman. Somewhere he also needs to finish Kung Fu Yoga and promote Skiptrace. I don't think he will get bored any time soon. I do hope he can spend Christmas and New Year with friends and family. Though his crew is his family as he puts it so where ever he celebrates it he is with friends and family. I hope he enjoys it and has a great time.
Thanks a lot for this information, Charlie Murphy looks like a very lovely lady and happy to play with Jackie so I am now very curious how they will play together. Jackie really has a very tight time but he is smart and surely will manage all events and filming successfully. Let´s hope to see him alive again sometimes.
