Jackie accepted the award for "Best Movie Theme Song" and sang Desert Hero. Adrien Brody won "Best Supporting Actor" and Jackie and members of the JC Stunt Team accepted the award for "Best Action Choreography" for Dragon Blade.

Dragon Blade was nominated in three categories at the Huading Awards. The theme song "Desert Hero" won the award for Best Movie Theme Song. Jackie performed the song live at the ceremony. Jackie was accompanied to the ceremony by Adrien Brody who was nominated for, and won, Best Supporting Actor. Dragon Blade was also nominated for, and won, Best Action Choreography.
"I did not win because I sing well, but because this song has the theme of righteousness. I hope the song will spread the idea that 'we are one world united in spirit' and disseminate the idea of harmony and that there will be no war."
The Tenth Annual Huading (Tripod) Awards were held at the Venetian Hotel in Macao on 7th October. A host of international stars attended the awards amongst whom were Quentin Tarantino (Best Director) Nicole Kidman, Nicholas Cage, Laura Weissbecker, Zhang Ziyi, Andy Lau and of course Jackie. Jackie walked the red carpet with Nicole Kidman who was 'delighted' and Jackie said they were 'old friends'. Jackie presented Quentin Tarantino with the award for Best Director.
Last night CZ12 had four nominations at the Huading Awards and won three. This is the first time I won "Best Director". All these years I made movies for the audience to enjoy and not to win awards, but I am still very happy to receive the affirmation. Seeing Jackie Chan Stunt Team win Best Action Choreography and Zhang Lanxin to win "Best New Artist" and seeing them have an opportunity to come to the stage to receive their prize and give an emotional speech, made happier than winning my own award. Thank you to the fans around the world, and the friends who never stopped giving support.

Jackie has got a double nomination for the annual Huading Awards. He has been nominated for Best Director and Best Actor for CZ12. The awards are the result of a massive online survey and once the nominations are in, the final results are awarded by a panel of judges.

Jackie was awarded "Most Outstanding Achievement in Asia" last night at the Huading Awards held at the Olympic Stadium in Beijing. The awards are voted by the public through a survey system. More than 5 000 celebrities are voted on.
I can not verify this as an accurate translation of what Jackie said, or when he said it - whether on stage or in an interview afterwards as I took it from a Chinese forum but apparently Jackie said that his life can be divided into 4 stages: making movies for a lunch box; making movies for money as a young man, making movies for the audience and making his own movies. He also said that shooting a worthwhile movie in accordance with his conscience would be welcomed by audiences worldwide so he is going to continue with going his own way.
