Jackie Chan Film Gallery Opening Part 1

Today Jackie celebrated the 'soft' opening of the Jackie Chan Film Gallery in Shanghai. It was only open for a half day today for the opening as the museum interior is still under construction. A press conference was held to promote Jackie's new movie - CZ12 - at the opening. A new poster for the movie was also unveiled and can be seen in the background of some of the pictures.

Seven container loads with more than 10 000 items of memorabilia were shipped from Hong Kong to Shanghai for the museum. Another special feature of the museum is Jackie's "3 Dreams" video which he shot especially for the museum.

It's Official - Jackie Chan World Guinness Record Holder

Today Jackie was officially awarded two world Guiness Records - "Most Stunts Performed by a Living Actor" and "Most Credits in One Movie". Jackie was also celebrating the official 'soft' opening of the Jackie Chan Film Gallery in Shanghai. More photos to follow in a separate post.

I was awarded two Guinness Book of World Records, one of which is "Most Stunts Performed By A Living Actor." I felt I particularly deserved it today. As I look back to the past, so many times to do my utmost, I think it was very worthwhile, because they are records of the past. I can be very proud with them for posterity, saying with the audience that "This is Jackie Chan, Jackie Chan! This is forever!!"

Jackie Chan Guest Speaker on CCTV1 Show

On 4 December 2012 Jackie was the guest on a CCTV1 youth development program called "开讲啦" "Voice". The program invites guest speakers to share their perception of life with a panel ten specially selected representatives of Chinese youth. Jackie shared many experiences from his life.

Jackie Attends MAMA 2012

Jackie, Steve Yoo Seung Jun, Zhang Lan Xin and Yao Xing Tong attended MAMA 2012 (Asian Music Awards). Due to the plane being delayed and their luggage going missing they had to walk the red carpet in the clothes they were wearing.

Jackie tweeted via Weibo that he had to rush straight from the set of Police Story 2013, onto the plane, to the awards and had to rush straight back. He didn't even have time to go home and see his dogs.

Despite these setbacks, and wearing a hat to hide his new short hairstyle, Jackie gave out several awards to every one's delight. Including a very happy Psy who almost seemed happier with Jackie's congratulations than his award as he shared his photo with Jackie. Psy won "Best Dance Performance".

Wang Lee Hom, as well as being an award winner, sang "All the things you never knew (Ni bu zhidao de shi)" and "Beauty (Mei)". He won "Best Asian Artist".
