Giving Houses to Ya'an

Following the devasting earthquake in Ya'an earlier this year Jackie quickly had staff in the area to find out what the greatest needs were. From this research Jackie made an advert to support sales of Ya'an tea, to assist farmers whose crops and fields were devasted by the quake. At the same time Jackie found out that housing for orphans and the elderly was one of the most pressing needs and within ten days of the earthquake land had been identified and purchased for the construction of homes for the orphaned and elderly. Eco-friendly prefab housing was indentified as the most suitable for quick construction and today the first houses have been completed and handed over.

In addition a new Dragon's Heart School will also be built. Jackie spent time handing out bags and uniforms to the school children as well as unveiling plans for the new school. He also spent time with the elderly in their new home after helping them move their belongings to their new homes.
