"油菜花" performance - Jackie Chan
This is posted on youtube with 'Probably his best performance of this song so far' in the description. I think I may well agree! Definately the best LIVE performance of this song:
AND I finally got around to doing a proper translation of "油菜" which the online translators all translate as 'rape' which doesn't sound so good. I saw this morning Jackie Chan.com tried to avoid the problem by calling it 'Flower of the Field Mustard' but that isn't correct either. It is correctly rapeseed (one word) which may be more familiar to you as Canola!
So ... can we call the song Canola Flowers? Or as I have been dodging the bullet by calling it 'Youcai Flower' which sounds nice and poetical.
