Jackie Back at TIFF
Jackie will be visiting TIFF again this year, this time presenting three of his movies at the TIFF Lightbox - A Century of Chinese Cinema program running from June 5 to August 11 2013. Police Story is among the films Jackie is presenting, as well as a special look at Police Story 2013.

Drunken Master - 12 June 2013 at 6 pm
Legend of Drunken Master (Drunken Master II) - 12 June at 9 pm
Police Story - 13 June at 6 pm
and a trailer for Police Story 2013.

Jackie in Japan for 1911 Press Conference.
Jackie at a press conference for '1911' in Japan today. '1911' is one of the two films opening the Tokyo International Film Festival. Shown handing Jackie a bouquet of roses to celebrate his 100th film is actress and voice artist Shoko Nakagawa who is in the Japanese dub of '1911'. Jackie mentioned that he was happy to be in Japan but could not come sooner as he has been very busy. More below in the article.

会見ではまず東日本大震災に触れ、「日本が回復していて、とてもうれしい。ずっと日本に帰ってきたいと思っていたが、忙しくて忙しくて。遅くなってしまってすみませんでした」とあいさつ。「日本に来て２時間もたっていないが、回復ぶりを見て感動した。日本人には精神力があるから、必ず再建できると信じています」とファンにメッセージを送った。
映画では、義に厚い革命軍司令官の黄興（こうこう）を演じている。「撮影中に思ったが、革命は本当にたくさんの犠牲者が出る。辛亥革命がなければ今の中国はなかった。こういうことを映画化することが大事だと思う。特に若者たちに自分の国の歴史を知ってもらうことは非常に有意義だ」と話した。
ジャッキーにとっては記念すべき１００本目の出演映画になる。多くの報道陣を前にその感想を聞かれ、「１００作目かどうか、実は私は分かりません。子役から計算すると、ひょっとしたら２００を超えているかもしれない。記者の皆さんの方が詳しいので、皆さんが言うなら１００としましょう」と話し、場をなごませた。
会見の終盤には、映画の吹き替えを務めたタレントの中川翔子が花束を持って登場。ジャッキーの大ファンという中川は「いつまでも不老不死で、みんなの宝物でいてください。すべてを捧げてもいいほど大好きです」と興奮した様子で語りかけた。
「１９１１」は１１月５日から全国で公開される。

1911 Opens TIFF
Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF) announced today that "1911," starring and directed by the international superstar, Jackie Chan ("Drunken Master", "Rush Hour" and "Shanghai Noon"), has been selected as the special opening film for the 24th TIFF. Also, Jackie Chan will be making an appearance at the festival. A powerful epic tale about the founding of the Republic of China, "1911" took ten years to plan and cost nearly 30 million dollars to make.
As previously announced, "The Three Musketeers" will be the official opening film for this year's TIFF. "1911" will be the special opening film. This is the first time since the 10th TIFF in 1997 that two films have been selected as opening films. The two blockbuster films from Europe/US and Asia are sure to cheer up Japan.
